Angeline’s is an Italian-inspired modern American restaurant located in the new Cooper Carry-designed Kimpton Tryon Park Hotel in uptown Charlotte, NC. This warm and welcoming space has become a gathering place for locals as well as hotel guests with its relaxed but sophisticated vibe, featuring classic traditional Italian materials and a friendly new-southern sensibility.
Angeline’s reveals its authentic appeal right away, as a full-height wine wall showcasing the restaurant’s extensive Italian wine collection comes into view. The intimate bar seats 16 and feels welcoming and convivial. From the bar, patrons have an overview of the energetic and modern main dining space, with its active expo kitchen and backdrop of the city park. A glass wall connects the adjacent patio dining. Warm wood and rustic metal details impart a comfortable feel and the custom-designed copper chandeliers fill the tall volume and add sparkle. Steel and textured glass doors separate the convertible 50-seat private dining room, adding depth to the dining space or intimacy to private parties.
