Taking inspiration from the building’s site, The Bloomsbury at the Carolina Country Club draws artistry from Raleigh’s early 1900s Bloomsbury Park. Pairing the Georgian Revival architecture with the history of the park creates a story that is felt from each room to the next.
Upon entry to the bar and lounge, rich colors and textures emulate the ambiance of a vintage street car to begin your journey. Deep blue tones set a moody ambiance while plush seating and warm wood tones invite members to enjoy a drink by the fireplace or a small bite under the groin vaults of the bar space. Transitioning from the bar to the formal dining room, the finishes shift from deep colors to lighter tones that help create another unique experience. Nostalgic pale blues and soft yellows speak to the old park’s flora and fauna. A glowing wine wall provides a backdrop to the dining room while an operable wall opens out onto the adjacent patio allowing an indoor-outdoor dining experience.
