“I love views that make me realize most of my problems aren’t that big of a deal.” — Anthony Gucciardi

Several years after designing a state-of-the-art hotel and convention center that incorporates several of the city’s most historic buildings, our firm was asked to come back and design a contemporary guestroom tower addition so that the very successful convention center could chase larger events. Through the design process, we arrived at a solution that activates the street with a renovated restaurant and new breakfast outlet. The entrance to the rooftop restaurant crowns this new addition.
The 12-story tower features new F&B spaces and 110 rooms, which are helping to attract more businesses to the city as well as provide more income for surrounding restaurants, bars, and retail shops. The rooftop experience is the first in the city designed specifically for entertaining and socializing. It brings the energy of larger surrounding cities to Lancaster, while capitalizing on the incredible and unique views of the surrounding city and farms.
